CHEQUERBOARD - A beautiful indigo and rusty salmon pink chequered cushion cover handmade by her indigo. This fabric has been handwoven from hand spun yarn by Indian artisan women. Paired with a pinky plum handwoven cotton on the back.
Under privileged women have been trained to weave by a social enterprise institution called Women Weave. They learn this skill to obtain both income and empowerment to their lives. I am very proud to be sourcing such beautiful handwoven fabrics from this wonderful social enterprise.
100% organic cotton, handwoven fabric.
